Hafnarhús

The artist selected works from the museum’s collection and exchanged them with items from a local store or official buildings in the city center.

Twenty shops and companies in the centre of Reykjavik participate in an exhibition-project by artist Hlynur Hallsson. The exhibition name is OUT / IN and opens at Reykjavik Art Museum - Hafnarhús Thursday, November 6th. The exhibition aim is to bring works from the Museum's collection out to the public and at the same time spread a new light on common objects in our surroundings and put them in new context within the Museum's wall.
