Elín Hansdóttir With her installation in hall A Elin Hansdottir eradicates the distinction between private and public space; those familiar places in our lives that are continually shifting as a consequence of changes in the nature of society and its values. The individual not only orients herself/himself in time, but also in relation to thoughts and memories, coordinates or motion in a land-scape. The exhibit is a threshold of sorts (of the museum, the home, public space) which delineates the frontier between disparate worlds. Aricle by Ólafur Mathiesen
