ÁSMUNDUR ÁSMUNDSSON - HOLE
The exhibition Hole by artist Ásmundur Ásmundsson is a part of the museum’s exhibition series where individual artists are invited to create an exhibition that underlines connections with life that is happening outside the walls of the museum. In his exhibition Ásmundur Ásmundsson (b. 1971) has created a 6 tn. concrete sculpture, reflecting the fragile situation in Iceland in present time. Curator: Hafþór Yngvason.
PÉTUR MÁR GUNNARSSON - BOUNDARY
D-project is a series of exhibitions dedicated to visual artists who are at the beginning of their career. Pétur Már Gunnarsson (b. 1975) graduated in 2006 from the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, after completing studies at the University of Iceland in 2004 and the Icelandic College of Arts in 2002.
