Guided tour for the family in Icelandic
Family programme in Kjarvalsstaðir focusing on animals in Kjarval’s works. Klara Thorhallsdóttir representative form the museum’s educational department leads the tour. The exhibition Kjarval and Animals is on display in the north gallery at Kjarvalsstadir, which is dedicated to young guests of all ages. Kjarval often liked to tease people and once said that dogs were often a lot more intelligent than their owners, even though they liked to think of themselves as equals! Entrance is free.
 
At Kjarvalsstaðir are also on display: Kjarval – Key Works, From Unuhús to West 8th Street and Icelandic Design 2009.
 
Kjarvalsstaðir is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free entrance.
