PEACE AND INTERCULTURAL WORKSHOP FOR THE FAMILY. Viðey, Sunday 6 December 2.30 – 4.30 p.m.

An open arts workshop for kids and adults will be held at Viðeyjarstofa (in Viðey island) Sunday 6 December from 2.30 – 4.30 p.m. The theme of the workshop is based on Yoko Ono´s Imagine Peace Tower, and the words IMAGINE PEACE. AlmaDís Kristinsdóttir, education project manager at Reykjavík Art museum will be overseeing the workshop. This is a perfect opportunity for family and friends to get creative and enjoy peace and togetherness in a cosy environment. Emphasis will be placed on uniting friends and family as well as diversity and a moment of peace in beautiful surroundings.
The ferry departs from Skarfabakki at:
1:15, 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. and from Viðey, every hour between 1:30-5:30 p.m.
The ferrytoll and admission fee is kr. 1000 for adults and kr. 500 for children.
The restaurant at Viðeyjarstofa offers cakes, pastry and drinks at a reasonable price.
This program is in collaboration with Viðey Island the Borgarbókasafn library.
