Anniversary Conference and Erró-workshop. Hafnarhús, Saturday 17 April 1 – 4 p.m. (In Icelandic)
On 19 April 2010 a decade has passed since the Reykjavik Art Museum in Hafnarhús first opened. On this occasion the museum is organizing a conference to discuss the Icelandic art scene during the last ten years, the present situation and future prospects. More than a hundred people will be participating, some of whom are art professionals invited by the museum.
To bring together different perspectives on the topic the conference is also open for participation from the interested public. To celebrate the anniversary families and young visitors are invited to participate in a workshop where the focus will be on works by Erró. Refreshments will be offered during the workshop, from 1 – 4 p.m.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
