Reykjavik Children’s Culture Festival. Monday 19 April - Sunday 25 April
Hafnarhús - “Curiosity –who am I?”
A collaboration between Reykjavík Art Museum and eight primary schools. The students made collage silhouettes in the spirit of master artist Erró, based on the theme “Curiosity –who am I?” The works are combined into one big mural, and are on display in front of the F-hall in Hafnarhús.
Ásmundur Sveinsson Sculpture Museum - A Scarf-clad Troll
Wednesday, last day of winter, 21. April 12:40 – 2 p.m.
Students from Laugarnes School drape Ásmundur Sveinsson's "Tröllkona" sculpture in scarves.
Kjarvalsstaðir - Watercolour and Postcard Workshop
Sunday 25 April 2-4 p.m.
Kids aged 7 - 12 paint their own postcards and send them to children in the Faroe Islands. The workshop is part of a Faroe Islands culture programme at Kjarvalsstaðir.
