Artist´s talk – Helgi Már Kristinsson. Hafnarhús, Sunday 13 March 15 p.m.
Chain Reaction, the D-gallery exhibition by Helgi Már Kristinsson (b. 1973), features paintings and sculptures made by the artist in recent months. Helgi has primarily dedicated himself to abstract painting with strong influences from graffiti and street art in the urban landscape. His work contains impenetrable small worlds where floating forms and line drawings prevail.
Helgi, who lives and works in Reykjavík, graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2002 and has since exhibited in both solo- and group shows in addition to working as a curator and project manager of large exhibitions, notably Blink held at Reykjavik Art Museum - Kjarvalsstaðir in 2009.
The talk will be held in Icelandic and is open to everyone.
