Fringeberry - Musica Nova. Kjarvalsstaðir, Wednesday 26th at 8 p.m.

Next wednesday at Kjarvalsstaðir, we will re-live the experimental music of Musica Nova, the event is a part of the musical series Fringeberry.

Music Nova was one of the most known experimental music groups of the 60´s and 70´s in iceland.

Nam June Paik: Dragging Suite (Year unknown)
Atli Heimir Sveinsson: Mengi for piano (1966)
Yoko Ono: Lighting Piece (1955) and Toilet Piece (1971)
Leifur Þórarinsson: Piece (1966) for clarinet, cello and piano
Þorsteinn Hauksson: Humma? (1972) for two sopranos and bass
