Drawing: tour. Hafnarhús, Sunday 6th of November at 3 p.m.

Kristín Dagmar Jóhannesdóttir leads a gallery talk through the exhibitions Erró-Drawings, Attarsee and Faster and Slower Lines at Hafnarhús. Along with the exhibition From Sketch to Sculpture at Ásmundarsafn all exhibitions offer an insight to the use of drawing; either with specific artists or in a more in-depth research on drawing such as seen at Faster and Slower Lines, which explores the extensive element of the drawing through a selection of two- and three dimensional works by fifty Icelandic and international artists.

The drawing has been a subject in exhibitions widely where the radical transformation of the medium of drawing has been taken into consideration, which the talk will also reflect on.

The talk will take place in Icelandic.
