Symbols and Textures: Please-touch-workshop. Kjarvalsstaðir, March 18 at 3pm.

In museums there are usually strict rules about not touching the artwork. The Please-touch-workshop for families at Kjarvalsstaðir focuses on a collection of different textures that resemble at some level the works of Jóhannes S. Kjarval, the master of texture through pattern and the works of the Spanish painter Antony Tàpies.

A museum educator will lead the workshop through a discovery journey looking for symbols and texture within the exhibitions on display. The workshop is suitable for 8-11 years old children acompanied by adults.
