AMAZING DARKNESS at Reykjavik Art Museum, The City Dark – film screening

Reykjavik Art Museum will celebrate the amazing darkness by screening the award winning documentary on Thursday 7 February 6 p.m. at Hafnarhús. The City Dark (84 min.) addresses the disappearance of dark skies and reminds us how lucky we are to have the milky way and aurora borealis at our doorstep. A screening of the first films made about light, visual poems of light, celebrations of light up until the twilight of a second world war will be set on Museum Night, Friday 8 February from 19-24. 

Moderated by Ryan Parteka, in collaboration with the Department of Humanities at University of Iceland and Reykjavik Art Museum.
