Three exhibitions close down next Sunday, September 1. These exhibitions are The Sound of a Bugle in a Shoebox: Magnús Pálsson - A Performance, Huginn Þór Arason and Andrea Maack: Interval and Theresa Himmer: All State.
The Sound of a Bugle in a Shoebox: Magnús Pálsson - A Performance is a durational retrospective of the performance work of Magnús Pálsson (b. 1929), one of Iceland’s most prolific and influential artists of the last six decades. His roots in and love of the theatre medium have informed his artistic output, but so has his dedication to experimentation and his unfailing belief in the non-segregation of art forms.
At the heart of the exhibition Interval is a fragrance intended to embody the essence of a museum of the distant future.
All State is an installation in the elevator at Hafnarhús.
