Icelandic Design Center lecture series: Scintilla, Hafnarhús, Thursday 16 January at 8 p.m.
Iceland Design Centre Lecture series is organized in collaboration with the Reykjavík Art Museum and the Iceland Academy of the Arts. The series features talks by local and international designers and architects about their recent works and current topics within the field. Fashion and textile designer Linda Björg Árnadóttir is this year’s first guest in the Iceland Design Centre Lecture Series on January 16th. In the lecture, Linda Björg will speak about the differences between designing textiles for fashion versus designing textiles for the home. She will also introduce her broad body of work which includes textile design, pattern making and fashion design.
The lecture starts at 8 p.m. and is in Icelandic. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
