Museum Night 2014 - Friday 7. February from 7 p.m. – 12.p.m. (midnight)

Reykjavík Art Museum offers a diverse program at all its locations on Museum Night: Hafnarhús, Kjarvalsstaðir and Ásmundarsafn. Admission to the Museum and its program is free and open to everyone.

Gallery talk in connection with the exhibition Katrín Sigurðardóttir: Foundation
Hugrún Þorsteinsdóttir Architect will walk through the exhibition with museum´s visitors. A great opportunity for the family to learn more about Sigurðardóttir‘s work.

9 p.m. – 12 p.m. (midnight)
Gallery talk in connection with the exhibition Cadences of Line and Color
Heiðar Kári Rannverssson Program Manager at Reykjavík Art Museum will walk through the exhibition with museum´s visitors. A great opportunity for the family to learn more about the artworks in the exhibitions.

Kristín Ómarsdóttir‘s 7 Letters
Kristín Ómarsdóttir Poet reads from 7 Letters, published in the catalogue accompanying Katrín Sigurðardóttir‘s work: Foundation.

Workshop for the family in the Idea Lab
Arnar Ásgeirsson and Þór Sigurþórsson Artists lead a workshop for the family in the Idea Lab at Kjarvalsstaðir. The workshop is in connection with the exhibition The Seasons in Kjarval’s Art.

Gallery talk in connection with the exhibition The Seasons in Kjarval’s Art
Steinunn Sigurðardóttir artist and curator will walk through the exhibition with museum visitors. A great opportunity for the family to learn more about the artworks in the exhibitions.
