Curator´s talk with Jón Proppé about the exhibition Cadences of Line and Color on view at Reykjavík Art Museum- Hafnarhús. The exhibition is in three parts and showcases works of art in the spirit of “visual music.” Since the early twentieth century, artists in search of abstract forms of expression have sought inspiration in music. The third section, curated by Jón Proppé, consists of about forty smaller works that illustrate the relationship between music and abstract art in Iceland.
The talk starts at 3 p.m. and takes place in Icelandic.
