Symposium: Katrín Sigurðardóttir - Foundation, March 1, 1 p.m.
Please join us for a symposium on March 1st at Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús in connection with the exhibition Katrín Sigurðardóttir: Foundation.
The symposium will focus on the role of architecture in Katrín Sigurðardóttir’s work, as well as the work now on view at Hafnarhús. The symposium consists of a panel discussion between architects, all of whom have worked closely with Katrín Sigurðardóttir or have extensive knowledge of her work. The artist and Julian E. Bronner Art Journalist at Artforum will also discuss the work Foundation in detail.

Bronner, Art Journalist, Artforum; Hólmfríður Ósmann Jónsdóttir and Hrefna Björg Þorsteinsdóttir, Arkibullan Architects. Opening remarks by Einar Örn Benediktsson, Chair of the Reykjavik City Board of Culture and Tourism.
The symposium starts at 1 p.m. and takes place in Icelandic and English. Admission is free.
